Not a great track for me tbh, just waiting for Suzuka, India, America and Brazil now :) Race pace is a lot better than my quali around here so hoping to maintain some good results!

That's fine mate. Massive congrats! :)

Personally I'm really looking forward to this race after the social I had yesterday. Was a lot of fun and my pace was quite encouraging. Just gotta hope to keep out of incidents and that we won't get too severely affected by ghost cars.

Feeling a lot happier around here after finding some good braking points (Which I found impossible at first). Race pace also seems to be pretty good aswel! However, in a social yesterday every single car at the end of the race was a ghost car for me.... When racing in leagues on this track beforehand, this track is particularly bad for some reason. However, whenever I'm host it seems to be not as bad whenever I race in AOR. Hopefully it should be ok for tomorrow.

This is what happened to me in a TRL League race around here:

100%'s do seem to be a lot worse though. One thing I noticed with the ghost cars is that they always appear in the same area of the track. In this case, cutting across you as you go through the fast left into the tight right hander that follows.....

Looks like i'm going to struggle around here, finding it tough to hook up the last sector. Also really bugs me that you can use the grass as a run off area without loosing lap time.
I've had problems with phantom cars this week as well.

Love this track on this game; its very rewarding when you hook a lap up. I would love a podium come tomorrow but its going to be a challenge. I feel wheel users will be strong around here, lots of slow to mid speed corners where you need to be precise. Looking forward to it :)

I found this in a social I did tonight :/ Seems incredibly hazardous so hopefully doesn't happen on Sunday. I would never touch the game again if that happened after doing 38 laps of a 100% grand prix, you got some serious patience to still play :D

This track seems like a lot of fun to drive so looking forward to racing tomorrow and finding the joy in racing again, hopefully with some preparation I should be back fighting for the higher quali positions. Time to put JD's Korea video on repeat

Rickeey, don't know if you got my PM earlier in the week - what's the status of your Italy video? Lacking footage at the moment so need to get all I can! :)

JD martin rosberg n matty should give him a real run for his money. if you had raven n tigger in too it would be like watching porn lol. fair play to you noble you are the best but i see alot of hungry talent coming for you next season. good luck 2nite lads, ill be watching.

Hey guys, just a quick note with regards to tonight's race. We've had reports that the ghost/phantom car issue can happen quite frequently around this track. This essentially means that if you suddenly see a car driving around on the grass, driving backwards, or other similarly unusual things, there is most likely someone on the track that you aren't able to see (eg. a car that is invisible for you). There's not much that can be done about it if it occurs, you'd just have to try and make the best of the situation, but it's worth keeping in mind.

Also a note with regards to the pit entrance and exit:

On the pit entrance, I want people to stay with at least two wheels on the tarmac at all times. In other words, don't cut across the grass as - that looks ridiculous and is essentially the same as corner cutting.

On the pit exit, please don't cut across the kerb separating the track from the exit - drive out of the pit lane the way you're meant to. With the nature of this exit, you also need to be very aware of potential cars coming down into turn 1, both in qualifying and the race.

And of course, be extra careful at the start of the race. Despite the short run to the first corner, it's a corner known to be common for incidents at the start. The same goes for turn 3 (at the end of the long straight) where you're approaching at full speed into what is pretty much a hairpin. Make sure you have a general understanding of where to brake in order to not cause unnecessary incidents.

With that, I wish you all good luck in tonight's race! :)

Think I have some good pace around here so hopefully a solid result will come to help me get out of the relegation zone. Personally I haven't had any issues with phantoms lately so hopefully it'll be a OK tonight. Oh and SE the pit exit hadn't been finalised when the game was ready for release and they wouldn't be able to patch something like that I think.

LOL how things change.

That was hands down the worst league race of my life, i drove soo badly it was a joke. Apologies to Jason, Se and Randy for our slight contacts, most were my fault. The strategy may have worked with some luck and if my driving was on form. Anywho not too be, i hope i get a quiet showing on the highlights hahaha. Aiming to respond with a strong showing at Suzuka.

Well done to Noble and JD for great drives, Rosberg too for his first race in the AOR. Also to Matty with a great 4th starting 10th.

More detailed race report coming later, but a couple of things;

Great first corner! From what I could gather there was no contact whatsoever. Well done :)

I'm really happy with the pace and consistency I showed tonight. Did a PB in qualifying (1:36.3xx) to start 5th. Had some good battling with SE in the early part of the race, but was mostly by myself in the second half. Most people did 3 stops, but I made a 2-stopper work to great effect, catching Rickeey and Matty really quickly on the options on the final stint. Passed Rickeey with DRS for 5th on the final lap and could have had a go on Matty for 4th had Rickeey's car not been given a mind of its own and straight lining me into turn 4! I couldn't see Rickeey's car from that point, but creds to him for slowing down and letting me through before the line to give me 5th back, great sportsmanship :)
