My Quali pace so far is bad but managed to get in high 18s, still another second to find I reckon.
I think if you are just quick enough in the race and incidents ahead, you can really frustrate those who have slipped behind , not an easy overtake at all.

I am expecting mid 17's for the pole time if dry but if race is wet I am going to be lapped

Well done Giinis, and unlucky BKD, thought you were going to win that!

After a long break mixed with GT Sport i was very rusty and qualy just got quicker each time, though 17s were never viable.

Steady start and somehow 3 wide into turn 1 just about worked ahead of me

I paced the front two in the early laps before i had an awful couple of laps which included dropping to 2nd into turn 1 and having a back end slide which unfortunately let Josh tangle with me and damage his wing, sorry!
This also spun me 360 costing me positions and about 7s

Just before my stop i got a red wing, costing me a lot of time and a lengthy stop but at least i could still 1 stop.

Then it was just circulating and picking up places when others stopped with a couple of overtakes.

Actually got into a decent rhythm and solid lap times 10 from home but it was too little too late, closed a huge chunk on Giinis but i believe after BKD stopped again he began cruising it home.

I'd love to say glad to be back! But two decent tracks coming up now, this has never been a favourite so hopefully get the pleasure back!

One mistake cost me my first Win :-( oh well I can take encouragement for improving since my first race here.
Quali: : P2 on my last stint with a PB this week, was going to go for a second runs but saw Josh pull out half a second so decided against it.

Race P3:
Had a decent start on the dirty side and kept it on the dirty side until turn one where I made it stick to take the lead.
Haze was over me sticking close for a while but I went wide in one corner which backed him into Blake.
Was pulling away after that and was nervous as hell inside looking at a first win,
Decided on late pits to try a one stop.
Ginis caught after the first pit stops and for what seemed like ages I kept him behind, I even noticed he had a penalty ( should have let him past and try to stay with him),then on the chicane I lost it and hit the barrier and lost half a wing,
Pits it was and got a penalty for speeding.(noticed in results I had 2 penalties, not sure where one came from )
Come out pits P5
Was flying on the last few laps fresh tyres and did a couple of overtakes for the podium.

Well done Ginis good close fair racing, well done Blake For P2.

YouTube video to come.
